I have a final few questions before I order my lift kit:

BJ's recommended steering stabilizer shocks. I am getting a 2" Spring Lift Kit. Exactly how much "instability" should I expect from this lift?

BJ's also recommended sway bar quick-disconnects, but if I am not offroading in my Wag (which I don't plan on doing in the near future) is it correct to assume that I don't need these?

The final thing BJ's recommended were track bar relocation brackets. (Am I correct to assume that an '89 Grand Wagoneer has track bars?) I've heard that you don't necessarily need track bars, but would it be a worthwhile investment anyway considering they only cost $25?

You want to have a steering stabilizer regardless of lift. So if you don't have a stabilizer, yes, you want one.

if you're not off-roading, you won't need disconnects. I actually take mine off-road and I DON'T have disconnects.

You can disconnect your track bar if you like. On a 4" lift, the track bar helps with bump steer. On your 2" lift, I don't see it really making a difference.

When I had a truck with a 3" lift, IIRC, the track bar was disconnected and it didn't make much of a difference.

Oh, and yes, an 89 FSJ should have a trackbar on both front and rear.

Go out and spray ALL your bolts with PB Blaster.

Today. Tomorrow. The next day. And the next. Repeat until the brown truck shows up with your lift kit. Your knuckles will thank you.
