hey guys... my old boss called me and has some questions, lol..
he has a late 80's GW, SWEET ride, fully loaded, leather, power everything, etc... anyhoo, enuff drooling from me..
He called me and says it runs rough... it has a fairly new 360? I think, less than 20K on it.. he says it runs rough, he replaced cap, rotor, wires n plugs.. says it sounds like timing is off, and this is a recent thing that has been happening... what are some possibilities for me to look for when I go look at it?
Thanks guys!

Check for a stuck vacuum advance mechanism in the distributor. I pulled my hair for a week, sold the truck and bought another before we found that one. My friend is happy, I am not.

Maybe a plug wire is loose or maybe they were never hooked up right. But pushing on the plug wires is an easy check.
good luck
