View Full Version : how many? how many run?

fulsizjeep

So.............
How many FSJs do you own?
How many of them actually run?

This is not a trick poll. Please be honest.

We own 8. 5 run. 4 are legal.
I did not ask how well they run. ;) If it can get underway and stop, that is good enough for the poll. :)

I own 1. it runs crappy right now but I am getting a new to me motor tomorrow that runs great. So hopefully in a couple weeks or so I'll have a runner AND driver FSJ.

I still want to add at least a J-20 and a full size cherokee to my yard. Alas...$$ talks ...just never to me.

I've voted as one vehicle. But I've never gotten straight as to how the FC series qualify on this forum. Until I have a clear message from the entire forum I am excluding my FC-170. My understanding is that we are focused on the Gladiator, J-Truck, Wagoneer and early Cherokee. Such is my current understanding...

my fsj runs, but not too great. gotta get my motor worked on. i have an xj that runs great and looks like crap. soon to be another xj, and prolly one good running fsj (the one i already mentioned)

My 88 runs and you can actually drive it on the road legally.
My 77 parts rig is rusted all to hades, has no seats now, but cranks, goes forwards and backwards, and stops when you hit the brake pedal. Thats about all I can say about it. LOL

I was going to vote 2/1. But my J-10 does run and will make it around the block. It has no exhaust and is no where near legal, so thanks to the very lax guidelines, I can say my fleet is at 100%.
But it doesn't feel right.

Lets see, there is 9 counting the camper, J truck bed trailer, and J truck frame and bed made into a jeep parts shed. 3 that runs, 2 that pulls, 2 being worked on, one parts rig,and of course the shed.

I'm 1 for 1 now. My 1977 Wagoneer runs and is currently registered. However, It needs work on water pump and possibly heater core. Therefore, I only move it twice each week for street cleaning. Only from one side of street to another. It's currently not insured, but if I plan to drive it on the road, I will insure it.

I'm 5/3.
Actually I could go 5/4, but my panel delivery has the front clip taken off right now, so even thought the engine runs, I didn't count it.
Of the three that run, 2 are licensed and driven regularly.

...and all the misc. parts in the barn could probably count for at least one more.

3 of'em, but I'm including the 51 willys pickup as an honorary FSJ.

87 Wagoneer, pretty much daily driver (alternating with the supercharged Buick Regal)
64 J-200 HD thriftside galdiator, finally running again as of yesterday.
both are legal plated and insured here in MI

I guess I am 100% on the FSJ front - it runs, drives. Of course it still needs "little" projects done.

Gotta say though, the "flu" has almost brought me down twice so far - oh, that would be the Full Size flu - had 2 decent Wagoneers offered to me at great prices. Managed to fend off the temptation - for now.

I have a CJ that is a driver - can I count that too ?? LOL:drivin:
