How do you think a 4X4 should sit? My J3000 sits about 4 inches higher in the back than in the front. That is a measurement from the ground to the wheel opening. I mounted my rear stepside fenders with the truck flat on my lift. Using a measurement from the floor to the top of the opening. Just looking for some input. I know you guys will give me plenty. :D

Mine is about 3" higher in the back also. My SOA should fix that.

I am thinking about going with 3inch lift in front so it would still be around an inch lower in the front. What do you guys think?

Do whatever makes it look the way you want. My J4000 sits a couple of inches higher in the back also. 4" low in the front seems a little excessive. Probably saggy front springs. You do realize that nobody makes lift springs for 73 and earlier Js and that you'll have to have lift springs custom made.

Yeah I am going with GULP blocks for now. I know Iknow you aren't suppose to use block but I am going to be getting a 4" kit from BJ's in the spring.

Jeremy,
DO NOT use blocks on the front of your truck. Too much stress; aluminum will break and even steel blocks may shift and be spit out of the spring pack. This could lead to a loss of control. Bite the bullet and wait for the lift springs.
