Ok, I've been around jeeps all my life (35 yrs.)and I never had one that doesn't have a skid plate for the trans/ t-case.Until I got my Wagoneer, that is.
It doesn't look like it is too much trouble to fab one up.
Does anyone have a pattern/Idea/experience for fabbing one?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have yet to hear of anyone damaging their tranny. Nice thing about FSJ's is the way things are tucked up between the frame rails.

I asked the same question a year ago. General concensus is that it is tucked up enough not to matter. I still think I might put a piece to protect the lowest part of the transfer case. Wouldn't need to be very big.
If you find something PLEASE let me know. Send me a PM or email
You check the tech library? I coulda sworn I seen one there.
Although I have to agree that the FSJ is a fine case for the arguement against the skids...
EDIT: Geez I am feeling generous tonight...I even went and dug up the link....her ya go:

I don't have a QT. Would it still work?
Go have a looksee with the ol tape measure and see if you can figure out if it will fit with mods or even without them....even if it dont work now, you ARE fabbing it so modifying it should be within your scope :D
