I Can't seem to find the top bolt on the inside firewall that holds the heater box onto the firewall inside the engine compartment. I got the bottom one off. So do I have to take apart part of the dash to get to the top screw?

you have to loosen the A/C ducts on the right side. minor PITA job. you just have to get it down, out of the way.

Don't ever give me an answer like that again!
Ok, I'm better now. I forgot it's always an ongoing project with my Jeep.

Getting that top nuts off is like, well, a PITA but with patience can be done... ;)

¥ Sawzall.
¥ Blasting powder.
¥ Bible.
All are OEM Jeep Tools.
I took the glove box out and used 20" of socket extensions and a ujoint on the end with the socket. PITA, but I didn't have to remove the AC. Also, there are two nuts on each post inside the vehicle. I didn't know that at the time.
