Finally got around to slapping on the old Jeep rally wheels I picked up from Hoot last winter. Blasted them, primed and painted, and finally mounted. I think they look good. And yes, these are real Jeep rally wheels, not the chevy ones. Cheby has more holes and they are closer together. Looks like a nice stock ride height and wheels, actually, its a 4" spring lift with 32x11.50s. Anyone need the 15x10" rims I had?

Now on to getting the stock grill guard done, redo my roof rack, some body work and paint, redo the interior, get the rear window working or on tract, finish the engine swap and then I might see light at the end of the tunnel.....maybe

The pictures are not very big. Would like to see more detail. I take it these are the 76 ralley wheels? Do you get much fender rub with the WT axles and 32s?

Now that's what I'm talking about.. :fsj:

Glad to see part of Dad's 76 Honcho back on the road. :)

I would like to see a larger pic but I remember them since brand new:cool:
I remember sticking a set of chrome beauty rings from my Oldsmoble on them one day. He made me take them off as soon as He seen them. They weren't Jeep-like to him. Later in life I know what he meant.

I was just out looking at my last set of those and wondering whether to keep them for the future or sell them off. My 77 Honcho will be running 8 lug 5 slot aluminum wheels instead of the stock Ralley's that came off it.

fulsizjeep, when I had the 15x10" rims I was getting rub, but with these, no rub.

I am working on larger pictures draglink

thanks bushwood44 and Jim, good to hear from ya Jim

Hoot, its an honor to put these on my Jeep:) . I did have some trouble mounting the tires to one of the wheels but they did come along. Once I got all 4 on there, a few of the guys at the shop liked how they looked, I did have to correct one of the them, he didn't know that Cheby rims would work on a Jeep. I corrected him about calling these Cheby ;) and said that the ones I took off would actually fit Cheby, Toyota and FSJ, he looked real supprised:D
