HI all again,
Sorry it's been awhile since I updated but been working hard trying to get this thing done. Looking forward to putting some BRIGHT RED on this thing.

Thanks Brubakes. That is what I was hoping for;). I have a guy that works for a VERY good body shop helping me on the rough work. He said that this truck is the hardest thing he's worked on due to the curves/ angles. basically all the body lines. There is nothing that is straight.. But that what gives them SOOOOOOOoo much character in my book...

BTW. Are you keeping your truck now? Haven't checked up in awhile. Hope you are able to keep it knowing how much you enjoy it.

Hey Mark, You Base Coat/Clear Coating it? That red is going to look sweet!

Hi Dave,

Good to hear from you again. I am doing base coat/ clear coat. Have to 1st shoot the sealer then 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear. The paint is REALLY bright. It is a Chevy red called torch red that I believe was only used on corvettes. I was just outside getting the hood and tailgate ready to spray tommorrow night. Are you heading back out this way anytime soon??

Hey Mark,
I probably won't be out that way until Thanksgiving...I'll have to make my way to Ellwood to see your rig. You've certainly came a long way since I visited at Easter, It's looking real good.:thumbsup: You're not going to want drive it in the winter...:D
