Welcome to the best place on earth first of all!! Second, for that spacer, that is a tough one to find. You might want to try the dealer or somebody on the board may have one lying around from a carb swap. Once again welcome and enjoy this place of great paople and vast knowledge.

2150 that's the 2 barrel right? I just pulled my whole 2 barrel intake and carb. I should have one I can get you. Let me check tonight after work. Drop me an email to remind me.

Plastic carb insulator?????where is this located, never heard of it. Does it affect anything when it goes or does it hurt performance???

Thanks guys. I've lurked around off and on for almost a year while working on the little nipper's Chief. He goes by Grim Jeaper.
The insulator is no longer available but we found one just up the road on a parts Heap along with a freshly rebuilt carb and intake.
See ya on the trail!

The insulator sits between the carb and the intake manifold. One of its functions is to insulate the carb from heat from the intake. If it cracks it will allow additional air flow into the intake causing a lean condition.
