electronic engine with no cat, problems ?

Are there any problems that will pop up if I run an electronic engine without a cat converter ? I plan on keeping all of the smog controls and emissions stuff on the engine, just without the cat converter.

Electronic engine? Mine uses gas...lots of it!
Actually, all I have for exhaust is duals with 15year old glass packs. No probs at all.

my 76 wag with factory emissions has never had a cat and even passses the smog nazi patrol's inspections witout one (and they check it too) :D
