Just purchased another 89GW, This one is a southern car with NO rust. PO installed Edelbrock performer and Holly 4B with minimum smog equip. GW runs great, will be doing a TFI upgrade, however,noticed that when car is idleing, after reaching operating temp, black /black soot on ground. My immediate reaction is that carb is too rich and should get out vAc gauge and adjust for max. Am I correct of is here something else I'm overlooking.Appreciate your input.
