I was trying to get my tailgate window to go down. I thought maybe the tailgate wasn't shut all the way, it seemed like the left side near the safety switch wasn't latched completely. I had somebody try the front switch next to the defrost while I pushed the tailgate in as much as I could. That didn't work, so I shut the jeep off, then I tried to restart it and I heard a click and then nothing. I've lost all power, not even the radio works and ampmeter doesn't budge. I assume that I blew a fuse somewhere. Any suggestions where to start? I have to get it fixed as soon as possible because my wife is telling me that I have to sell "that piece of junk". (She wants a minivan)

Its running now, I think that the wires for the fog lights were shorting everything out. My helper was my 4year old and instead of the rear window switch, he flipped the fog light switch. Since I don't even have fog lights anymore, I ripped out the old wires and it fired right up.

You're lucky to have such a helpful assistant. I have a two-year old and whenever she is in the Beast (and not in her carseat) she is going for the ashtray, where I keep my spare change. smile.gif
