My buddy used to have a '78 f250 with a divorced np205 behind a 2WD np435 and was all original.

My '64 F-100 has a divorced driver side drop t-case; it's a Dana-Spicer 24. Ford used them on F-100s until 1964 and on F-250s until they were replaced with NP 205s about 1973. Might be a place to look.

72ish to 76 Fords. Typically referred to as "high boys". They have the super long front drive shaft. They came with NP205's typically. The 60's ones came with dana t-cases as coop said.

Thats why I try to buy everything I find when I have the cash. That way, I can sell it later if I don't end up needing it :D

I know I just saw a mid-70's F250 highboy on craigslist in rough shape for $1000. Let me see if I can find it. It was either in Dallas,Waco,Austin or SA. You could keep the 205 and make a big chunk of the money back on the Engine/tranny/axles
