The other day i was driving home from work with a buddy of mine and I had my lights on. he Said "Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley and said hey you see that? There is Smoke coming from that light switch". Sure enough every 10 20 seconds a small stream of smoke would come out of the switch so i quickly got it home. Tried to get the witch out and look at it by unscrewing the base but did not work. i have no idea about how things come off this truck. (Could not figure the brake caliper out for nothing) But do these things have a tendency for wiring to go bad and Catch Fire?

So just replace the whole switch with a unit from BJ's?

You can get the switch from your local parts store. When you get the new one, you will notice a small, spring loaded, metal button. This is the pull knob release. To get the old switch out, pull the knob to the 'on' position then push and hold the button (you have to stick your hand up behind the dash) and pull the knob out of the switch. You can then unscrew the bezel and remove the old switch. Replace in reverse order.
