Seriously, why doesnt jeep just make these a production vehicle....or somthing similar. Doing this conversion cost way more than what a production would go for....but I really like this one:thumbsup:

What do you guys think of these? Good or Bad?

Jeep would probably fare better by getting back into the pickup market.

Those BRUTE conversions are sweet. They are sold by a Company here in Western NC. Pretty Pricey. But i do agree Jeep should just make them a production vehicle.

I would think it would be fairly easy for Jeep to come out with a factory model based on the 4dr JK chassis. Build it and I would buy one.

If you haven't already, look up the "J8". It's a military export JK 4 door length, but a 2 door, with a dana 60, leaf sprung rear, & diesel motor.

its not a pickup though, J8 is a 4 door isnt it?

According to google, the J8 is an AEV product like the Brute. Jeep needs to step up to the plate on this one. jmo

honestly right now J-trucks are the only jeep name vehicle i like. i dont like cj's xj's or any other J. but if they built a factory pickup, id start taking more of an interest in the newer jeeps.

You can buy a drivetrainless J8 from AEV.
For a mere $80k.

I am thinkin an actual Jeep version would be just a tad less than 80k.

Yeah, it would as if it came to our civilian market they'd be producing a bunch of 'em so it'd be a lot cheaper.
Jeep just builds the J8 currently for export to foreign militaries, such as Egypt's.

I like the Brute, but the unibody / two door Avalanche look on the JK brings the ghey.

I've always loved the Brute from AEV. Wish I had the money to do that and the HEMI swap to my Wrangler. I've been up close to a couple Brutes at shows and such. AEV does a top notch job on them. A real "factory" job.

a limited run, even without the diesel and the 60 rear would be great. would show the viability of a small Jeep truck.
i have a feeling the half-cab version won't meet rollover standards or something and that's why they won't do it. the AEV J8's are supposedly not road legal, but i'm sure there are ways around that.

I meant unibody as in the cab and bed and one unit, in example: the Honda Ridgeline and Chevy Avalanche.
Kinda like Uni-Brow

Bed and bed are separate on the Brute.
