Tailgate wires

I have the oh so wonderful electric window on my 83 wagoneer. and of course the wires broke, again. Luckily the window is down.
My question is, what kind of wire should i use so i can minimize troubles with it?

anything in a stranded variety should work as long as the gauge (thickness) of the core is appropriate for the load of the circuit.

is there anything that will withstand bending more than another type? i don't want to have to do this again and the window be stuck up.

Why do you think that the wires are broken? If the window won't go up, it could be jammed just enough to trip the circuit breaker on the motor, bad switch at the key, etc.

because i can see them broken
they broke between the tailgate and the body.
