After a good night of partying and drinking someone thought it would be a good idea to write all over my jeep with a what they thought was a pencil....well it was a grease pen and would not wash off so out came the rattle can

Did you end up inboarding the springs to fit the 14 bolt? Why did you decide against the H1s? I was thinking about doing the same soon.

no stock set up...with home made system like tts...moved the spring perches and rotated 4 degrees....decided i would just get a set of weld on rings and go that way...didnt want to have to recenter the h1s and boggers wont clear if i dont

was really easy...just get it in the seam of the flairs and run the saw really slow...clean up any slight variations with a grinder....also use a blade with a high teeth count made it not try to grab and wander on me as bad
and dont try to get through both outer and inside metal....do out side then cut the inner one

What did your 14 bolt come out of? I have heard of people having problems getting SRW ones to fit without inboarding the spring under the frame. If you don't mind could you snap some pics of where the springs ended up on the axle? Are they really close to the backing plates? The spring are maybe 1-1.5" away from the backing plates on my J20 axles as it is.

The spring perches were only about 3 " different so only moved them 1.5 each side...still plenty of room from backing plates to get u bolt plat on...i can get u pics ....came out of a late 70s chevy 20 pickup...of top of the head i would say they are 3-4 inches from backing plate but will get measurement tomorrow and pics

its not getting shocks as it will only see slow in town roads and offroad.....and no stops....have a bunch of springs around so if they bend will just swap next set in....want every inch of flex i can get
