So a while back someone said they were going to put up a thread on sqealing brakes in the tech section, but I can't seem to find it...

...my prollem is a hi-pitched sqeal when brakes applied.

I just installed lifetime pads (up front) and med-grade pads (in the rear) about 6-8 months ago, and I had the rotors turned...

So waht do I need to do here? It's not too big of a problem, but I might like to stamp it out. ;)

BTT I have the same issue, new quality pads and shoes, machined rotors etc. Squeal like pig when applied slowly, hard braking quiet but this is not feasible all the time.

I thought that was what they were supposed to do, how else would you know they were working? :D

I have had my Jeep for 14 years never really had this problem.
until my last brake job same MO appeared.

Light/Minor application of the brakes pedal and front brakes sqeal.
Medium and hard on the binders NO sound, sounds great. Don't know the answer. Anybody?
