I had just finished reading all the reply's to Sean's thread about his new waggy, and was leaving to go to the showers when the phone rang!! you guessed it Sean was on the other end of the line. He was in Golden had just filled up with gas and the starter went out on the Corn Dog could I help? Sure says I, so I hopped in my DD and went out to find him. We pushed the disabled Corn Dog off the fuel island and pulled the old starter. This required me to cut down a spare 5/8 wrench so he could turn the top bolt. After we got it out we headed to Vato Zone well the one we went to didn't have it but one 10 miles away did, so we trucked on over got it and drove back to where the wounded Corn Dog waited. He put the starter in while I watched the wild life you see around a Circle k at night. Then he pulled it out then put it back in, then pulled it out and put it back in!! It seems that IHC starters have to be shimmed!! Finally it was realised that he didn't have enough shims so we got it started and he is spending the night on my couch.

I'm thinking of calling CDOT to see if they have enough funds to keep a Sean support truck rolling within 30 minutes of his where abouts at all times for just such occasions.

Did you see the machines that put the bottles and cans into the boxes? Some of those are from my work. I've built 4 or 5 for them. We've sold more but I was traveling for the co. for 14 years and I did very little brewery work. Now that is about all I build. Getting ready to start 2 more monsters for Miller. Got to be done and shipped by Feb.

So Hoot does that mean you are coming here when they install them?

I quit the road life.. I only do special request from my old clients now. I never got in that good with the brewery world until after I quit traveling. My specialty is cereal, cracker and tissue. I also did alot of the odd ball old time machines that are twice as old as me or older.
Our machines are all custom built per customer specs and many are "one-up" machines. I get to do alot of the odd ball new stuff in the plant now.

That is some very cool equipment they have, kind of dizzying if you stand there too long.

Apparently Coors is so big they have their own railroad:eek:

He doesn't need it! Look in "off topic", he doesn't consider this broken down.
