Got the front clip off today for this restoration and pulled the engine/tranny and TC in one fell swoop. The radiator support bracket/body bushings bolts fell apart when I removed them and I suspect the remaining body bushings/bolts are the same condition. Does anyone know where replacement bolts are sold as a kit or the size of these bolts if I just go to depot? Thansk in advance.

There isn't a kit available. What most folks do is to take their originals and match them up at a hardware store with grade-8 bolts.

What do the front body bushings at the radiator support look like? I need to replace all of mine so I got a kit but there were no front bushings.

Did you use a run-of-the-mill cherry picker to pull the engine/tranny/t-case out? More details and pix if any please.

they look like regular bushings, but have a narrowed section that fits in the frame mounts

Thanks for reply. I figured as much when I didn't hear from anyone. I will take the bolts over to depot and see what I can find.

Actually I did use a run of the mill engine lift. Nothing fancy. Once everything was disconnected in the engine bay I cut exhaust off which is being replaced anyway, disconnected drive shafts from tc, unbolted engine and lifted the whole thing from a carb engine plate that summit racing sells. The whole thing lifted out and instead of pulling engine lift forward I rolled truck back. Very easy actually
