What does a snow plow set up weigh on the front of a J truck or Wagon?

That depends on a lot of things.....width, height, light duty, heavy duty. What are you looking for???

Well this one is a 7.5 foot Western L/D with a Uni-Mount. It weighs about 350 lbs.

It's just evryone has a problem with putting a 6bt cummins in one of these because of the weight, but they will strap a plow on the front and that weight is farther forward so it would cause more stress.

My old Fisher 7 or 7.5' (can't remember now) 4-way plow weighed around 550lbs, according to Fishers website. It was VERY well built.

It sounds like it was VERY well built. I would hate to run into that thing.

Dang -- I worked on one just like that last week, and I could've sworn it weighed a good bit more than 350! Of course, this one has maybe 75 lb of welds, gussets & patches. We have a pretty rocky road, and our plow driver always has his buddy Jack Daniels riding shotgun.
