14 bolt gear setup

I am putting my gears back in my 14 bolt. I'm setting up the preload like the info off of pirate says. but then when I tighten up the bearing cap bolts, the ring and pinion wont turn any more. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong here?

I got it figured out. just had to walk away for a minute. I didn't have the bearing caps tight enough when I was adjusting the preload. but its all good now.
