Hi everybody,
I registered on IFSJA a few month ago, but I forgot to present you my car.
I've bought a Cherokee LAREDO in november 2008 in the north of France. The seller delivered it to my work place. There was no engine in the cherokee, the comlete interior was very dirty. It was even not jeep seats but citroën (for the ones who know these french car make ! ! !) seats.
A friend of mine helped me to find some missing parts and to put an engine in (V8 360).
And now, it is a pleasure to drive this car and to hear the V8 sound !
Could someone tell me how to insert an image, to show you my car ?

Welcome! I bet those Citroen seats are comfortable, if they are from one of the bigger models.

Thanks everybody for all your "welcome messages"
I will place pictures as soon as possible !:)
For those who wondered if the citroen seats (XM model) are still in my cherokee, I answer NO, because I wanted my car to have US parts ! So I found in France someone who was selling a complete LEVI'S interior (seats, floor mat, doors and cargo panels) So, now, my Cherokeeis a laredo with a LEVI'S interior.

Howdy from Austin, TX.
Your Cherokee is awesome! I can only imagine the difficulties of changing an engine on a 30 year old American car overseas. It's hard enough here to get some of the needed parts.
Is that a '79 TA in front of your Jeep in the shop? I had one many years ago when I also had my '79 Chief. I just can't settle on a truck or a sports car.
