Rusty's is pretty good, I am putting one on right now. here is a link.
Rusty's (http://www.rustysoffroad.com/)
The only thing you have to watch out for is getting all your stuff in the kit. His quality control in the shipping room is a bit lacking. Other than that I am happy with what I ahve gotten done so far.

I prefer Skyjacker 4" Softride.... much more money but worth the $$$ in my book... I have no experiences with Rusty's lifts at all

Why not go a little higher and give RiverBeast a little more work to do :D Go SOA, it will probably be same cost as a spring lift!

I agree with Todd, my rear springs are skyjackers and I love em, they are more though.

haha... Thanks for the dig Patrick... I would be more than happy to make more kits :D .
What PJ is referring to is a SOA (Spring-Over-Axle) conversion. This relocates the front springs on top of the axle for 6-7" of lift and is a DIY job... I make a 7" rear shackle inverion kits to compensate for the SOA up front and is completely a bolt on kits needing common hand tools and a 4" angle grinder. I have sold several kits to guys here on the board...
River Beast I would like to find out more about the SOA conversion. Complexity, cost, driveline angle problems, legality. Any help would be appreciated.
I have been told that cops in this area have impounded some samarai's that have been converted to SOA.

Go to my website and read up on the SOA and my shackle inversion....
If you do the SOA with stock springs you can run 33's
If you have any questions... feel free to ask here or email me.
drdaveod, does Utah have some lift laws or something? I know some states do things with bumper height, others do things with frame height. I don't think AZ does squat.
Tadsal, I know Utah has a lift law, it has recently been changed, but I'm not sure what it is.
The reason (at least this is what I was told by a local mechanic) the vehicles with SOA lifts were impunded was because of an altered, non stock configuration. In other words if the vehicle is spring under you can use lifts that leave the vehicle spring under, but no other alterations.
Im not sure what the reasoning is or to tell the truth if it is even true, but that is what I was told.
I guess if that is their reasoning that would prevent me from putting coils on my 89 wrangler.????

If you use OEM parts... I think they couldn't say anything...
for axample:
taking a 1/2 ton Chevy front 44 and adding it to you FSJ... nothing has been 'altered' or modified.
You would use a drop pitman arm and that's about it.. nothing esle to mod except shock mounts (or longer shocks) and extended brakelines.
