I have just aquired a 1969 wagoneer Iam new to the jeep hobby but I have always loved the wagoneer. My 69 wagoneer has 89000 miles it has the buick 350 eng. What is strange is the interior seems to be just like the super wagoneer, was this a option in 1969 for a standerd wagoneer? Also I am looking for a original steering wheel, dash pad and weather stripping for rear window

What is the first 5 characters of the VIN? You may have a Custom, or a stripped Super.
Wow, you are local too.
Sounds like you have a 1414X which was the "Custom" model. Is the interior complete?
I'm sure we'd all love to see photos and I'd especially like to see photos of the alternator and AC compressor areas of the engine. :)

Hello There! My 69 is a 1414X and it has buckets, center console, tilt wheel, and it had A/C where the glove box is now. Also an electric rear window. Works when it wants to. Takes forever to fill the tank. Minor problems, really. Lack of disc brakes is the real drawback. Congrats on a good score!
