View Full Version : Factory Dielectric grease

Well I am troubleshooting my electrical gremlins to get my gauges to work. Well it looks like first this is the fuse block firewall connector. I opened it up. It looks like a chocolate bar melted on all the connectors. By chance is this the factory dielectric grease? Or am i correct to say it got pretty hot at one point? I tried some vinegar but i need to get some spray cleaner to clean the contacts.

I just had my fuse box out recently. I did not see any dielectric grease.

they all look like that.
he means the big main connector on the firewall ethan.

Oh. Yup. My firewall connector looks like that. I think it's epoxy of some sort. Vibration resistant and waterproof all in one!
