Nice J Truck! I haven't seen one of the little van trucks in a long long time...I need to pull my Jeep history book out and look em up. I can't even remember what those were called...

FC150(forward control). There were two models, different wheel bases, 150 & 170.

There's the military FC crew cab also, with the cerlist diesel/plus another variation I think... the full van body, and then the FC170 DRW.

Love me a Forward Control!

Mine will be getting Wagoneer axles and a 231 Buick V6.

The triple tube roll-bar on the awesome J truck is just wrong in so many ways. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v189/rcasey/smilies/hurlback.gif

I don't know why, but I really like the color of that J-truck.

Those forward controls look so awesome in an odd way. I saw a couple of them (one relatively solid and one for parts) up on Ebay motors in central Wisconsin. Never saw them go above $200 before I lost track of them. Would those FCs fall into the FSJ category? Any members here have one of those sweet rides?

They were built on pretty much a CJ chassis (for the 150) Know where one is at and all there, but kind of rusty, can be had. Is in Oregon just out of Roseburg. They tend to want to lay down and play dead if you push em hard in a corner. (way top heavy, and not the good way)

that KR on the back of that FJ is worth a penny or so too.

Looks like he has a beefier frame under it heavier, wider axles and all. You have any information Jeff?

I like the FCs but the're a little flat in the front.
:)

The orange j truck is sweet. and I agree the triple roll bar is a bit excessive.
