Anyone have picture of hood bar mounted? (up close)

I got a hoodbar from a member on here and just can't seem to figure out exactly how it mounts. The very bottom lip of my hood has a bend in it from the PO so I can't hold it flush to figure it out. I know I will have to drill at least 2 holes, but I was hoping someone had an installed or uninstalled picture that could help.

This will be going on my 82 J20. Thanks for the help

These might help. They are probably not exactly what you are looking for but I have them up on my server. I took these a while back to show the hood latch I think.

I converted my '79 J10 to a Razor grill and added this hood bar.

I just went out and snapped another pic of the underside of the hood bar. On mine there were square holes cut into the inner steel of the hood for the hood bar clamps. I had to drill the holes for the bolts though.

I think the holes for the little support braces were already there.

You have to drill a pretty good sized hole...a little unnerving if you have a fresh paint job;)

fortunately, and unfortunately, no fresh paint on here. seems to have been done a few years back, but it's no show queen presently. thanks again!
