Like everyone, I love my FSJ. And the more I think about the more I think about how I want to keep my baby for as loooong as I can. Next summer I was thinking about doing a diesel swap (for mileage and for the biodiesel capability (I'm majoring in environmental engineering))
So now that I've been thinking about possibilities before finances(like always), I was curious to all you diesel swappers out there, all in all around how much should I try to save up for this?
I know its a ridiculous question, but I am just looking for ballpark and I like dreaming.
I was thinking a 4bt with maybe a nv3550. But who knows, what other great drivetrains are out there?
