have any of you used this along with a ladder bar to reduce spring wrap and if so how well does it do? I saw it on gearz and it looked like it worked pretty well I was just wondering how well it would work on a jeep wit a SOA on it.

Never seen anything like that before. It is pretty interesting.

They are needed on ladder bar equipped, leaf sprung drag cars because the ladder bar is usually shorter than the front half of the spring. Therefor the arc of travel for the spring is different than the arc of travel for the ladder bar.

I have never seen them used on an off road vehicle. Probably because we have a lot more room under the vehicle to mount stuff. You can build a simple bar bar with a single mounting point on the axle and one on the frame in line with the front spring mount. This will give you the same arc on the bar and the spring, will prevent spring wrap and help u-joints last longer. This setup is on my brother's Blazer with 1-tons and it is very simple.
