I have a 83 wagoneer ltm with 188,000 on the 360.
I bought it last Feb. and hav'nt the time to do the things I had planed to do. One thing it does it is real hard to start in the mornings, sometimes I have to primr the carb. Well I had the oil changed today, and the guy said I had a strong smell of fuel in the oil. He said a bad fuel pump would do that. I looked at the vacume diagram and it is hooked up all wrong. I had someone tell me that happens when your rings are shot. Any advice from the experts ?

and do it fast. the gas is diluting your oil, and you have no idea how badly. let it go too far and you will be buying a new engine.
