power steering box question

Is a power steering box out of a '76-'78 wagoneer the same as my steering box in my '84 GW? Mine has started leaking alot & I am also going to add a hydraulic assist(welded front). I will need to drill 2 new ports on my steering box for the lines for the assist. I have access to 3 or 4 donors for the steering boxs if they will work.

It will fit, there maybe a differance in the fittings on the power steering line fittings, I do not recall the year that changed. If the fittings are different on the donor than what is on your Grand Wag, take the fitting off the donor pump and use the lines as well, or swap in the pump as well.
