guys, thanks for welcome and answers. Pork Chop was correct. I was operating on bad info from previous owner. Tranny is T85 3 speed on column. With this set-up, and wanting to keep from tranny back, will I only need bell housing adapter and new motor mounts to use 350 CSB? Wilks, I live by Branson. Thanks again.

You will also need a chevy clutch that is the the right size, to hold the AMC friction plate or a chevy clutch that has the same input spline as the T85 so you can use the new plate .and a conversion pilot bushing unless your piolt is the same size as a common chevy tranny (but I kind of doubt that )and if a stock chevy bellhousing is the same leingth as the AMC bellhousing than you should be able to mod. one for the conversion and then you wont have to add any spacers on the crank or bellhousing (it would be alot cheaper to do it this way if you can )
