Today, while traveling, I stopped to take a look at a '79 Cherokee. Now I'm frustrated! Why did I have to stop and look? Here are the details:
79' Cherokee
360 / QT
1 owner, yes 1 owner.
105,000 miles
NO dents, scratches, door dings, poop stains, or even sun fade on the paint.
Dual Fuel tanks
Tow package added
Not driven or moved in a LONG time.
The interior is PERFECT! Black carpet with bench seating. No cracks, stains. It doesn't even smell old.
Both the front and rear bumpers are shot due to pealed chrome.
Original owners manual
2 un-opened orginal Extra Spicer wheel bearing sets.
Both diffs have a microscopic leaks. No other leaks!
Hand crank door windows and motorized rear window. All work.
NO RUST...yeah NO RUST other than surface type underneath.
Tires are dry rotted but the spare is orginal and looks like new!
Now- I won't have their asking price until the last week of August!
That defines frustration in my books. Maybe noboby will drive across the state of &^%$%#@&^%$##. I ain't saying where it's at!
