Gents, other than what is on BJs Offroad, if you could have any front bumper made, what Bumper would you want?
I am NOT discounting Bumpers on BJs, I am looking for alternatives if there are any. I am in So Calif

TIA!

I'm liking the concept of hanging an "unstoppable" up there for sure.
Time is what it is as well so if I find a decent unit for a fair price I might jump on it. I appreciate the replies. I am going to go look up the Hanson unit to knaw on.

__I am in some discussions, only, regarding FSJ's w/ Reunel Co. There Bumpers are the Crem De' La Crem of bumpers. "Substancial (http://www.reunel.com/products.html)" would be describing there products lightly. I have invited them to this list, time will tell.

__They are in Maxwell California (http://www.reunel.com/products.html). Is anyone here close to them?

they built mine and its very similar to the old BJ's model. At one time they were going to have Kn Mtn contract build, however, i am would guess as with me "Confidence was lost as a result of lead times and other issues. Too bad. I really like mine but i am with Bill Moore and others. The old BJ's looks awesome

No - but anybody is welcome to build one and sell them, as long as I get a free one or parts-price.

I don't have a place to produce these things, much less the skill level involved. I'm just good ad designing stuff.

Man I love that bumper. I would love to have some clear day time pics of it. I would like to see it from the backside too (though I figure you dont have any pics of that) I would be intrested in seeing how its made and how it hooks to the frame. And closeups of the winch mount from the top and bottom. lol...cause it looks like the only way I could get one, is to build one.

Here's a couple of picts from my build.

J10Mike modified the top to better match the angle of front sheet metal. I had to extend the mounting bracket by 1 bolt hole to get it sit out far enough so the winch would clear without cutting into the radiator support. Also, the mounting holes for the winch were slightly off.

You have done well grasshopper. I'm very happy that my old Cliffhanger bumper not only lives on. But, lives on bolted to a fantastic Cherokee build.
Here is a link to my Cliffhanger install page: http://www.j10mike.com/cliffhanger.htm

I'm sure I also have some more pics of the backside of the bumper as well prior to install.
