I have a 258.... well, I will when I find one to rebuild..... and I'm thinking about upgrading the hell outta it. OK.... a little at a time... And I want to put on the new intake manifold that will hold a 4 bbl. Problem is, I don't know which carb to use. I was going to get the Truck Avenger.... but was told Holley makes great strip and now off road carbs, but they suck for street use. All the info on the Avenger says it's a great off road carb, but what about when I drive to and from work etc? I heard Edelbrock is great for street use and the daily driver, but anything off-road will stall it out. Help!
