So I started to tear into it to see what I was working with. Got me a new rhino style grill that looks a bunch better than the original like in my avatar. I plan on having the grill sprayed black to match the bumpers we are making for it. This was just the test fitting today.

I am still waiting on my cj headlight set, hence the square lights in the round holes.
While stripping parts off of it I came to realize that I did not do my due dilligence thouroughly enough. I have way more rust and front end damage than I thought. I almost got the passenger close to right after a couple of hours with a BFH, LFH, and a rubber mallet. All the seams on the body look to be rusted through. The roof developed a leak. The tailgate is split down one side so the window comes out of it. While I was trying to fix the tailgate the window came out on me. I was lucky I did not drop it. The channel had rotted and the window just started falling. I really do not think that hte p/o realized what was under the maco style paint job (http://www.floridajeepers.net/viewtopic.php?t=57737#). But its mine now and I am going to work with it. I took the doors off to remove the fenders and put the better ones on. While the doors were off I snapped a couple of shots so that I could play around with photo shop. Then I saw exactly what I wanted.
What do you think? So what is a cage like this going to cost me to get made?
