I found this panel wagon by my house the other day the old lady said they bought it in 1972 and have had it ever since. Not sure what I would do with it but she gave it to her son a couple of years ago and said she would take my name and number. Supposedly it still runs.

Restoration material. A 232, too (not the problematic 230). Resto-mod, at most. That's a rare model.

That's a nice, complete, unmolested example! Hopefully someone will be able to get it and it won't continue to sit and rot.

On my way home tonight I will stop and talk to her again. The thing is I will be deploying next month for six months, and also she knows how rare it is she said she knew of one other in Spokane. I have no idea of what she will be asking for it. It also has a column shift standard transmission.

I dislike the word 'rare', as it is so very overused, but I will freely admit, that is one very uncommon and ...rare Jeep.

I dislike the word "rare" as it gives the owner the impression that it is valuable. :D
I would totally restore that Jeep... plenty of "non-rare" ones to cut and customize.

Looks cool! Don't give it to me though, I think a panel would look best with a large window filling in the whole windowless area

my boyfriend would absolutely love to own that thing. Just to park it next to our Chevy panel; but .. we really don't need a new project. lol

My version of his truck would be something like this:
