Back doors finally cut and complete PICS SPARE TIRE CARRIER NEW PIC HEAVY

Just finished cutting my back doors. Wanted the same 'theme' as fronts but couldnt go as low because of my 3 kids! Honestly it was more work than it was worth! I think they turned out great, but lots of hours for about 6 or 7 inches! Still have original doors that I'll prob reinstall for winter. Few pics and one with trial fit of surfboard....headed to Hatteras early Sat morning for a week of Waggy on the beach!! Oh yeah and new shoes---33 BFGs!!! Thanks guys!! I wish they were on some 'quick release' hinge! Takes almost a couple hours to swap....realigning is the biggest pain. Really though you dont get that wet....unless you stop and the wind is blowing!------oh my kids LOVE THE WAGGY!!

Shelf paper?!! I know the wood doesnt quite match original but Im not that ghetto!:D Ha Ha HA!! This was the closest I could find, 7year UV vinyl...on Ebay! But seriously does anyone make a 'quick release' type hinge for FSJ? It would take some serious engineering on the front doors the way the hinges are designed. I have clear vinyl 'windows' that velcro in the back doors to keep the wind off the kids if they want. I DD the GW around 100 miles a day...I get alot of thumbs up, or other compliments through out the day. Its a head turner! Hey Casey you know your gettin old when longboard is all you can surf anymore!! HaHaHA! I ll take plenty of beach pics for yall!

Damaya I bought tire carrier from the classifieds on this site. It is very well made and very sturdy. I was concerned about it rattling and makin all kinds of noise but it doesnt at all. I ll snap some pics and post them in this thread later.
