Thanks for checking this out. I bought an electric 1979 yesterday that's in pretty good shape. There are some differences, latches look the same but the pin/hole set up is much different. The 79 does not have the chrome strip attached to the glass. I think between the two I will have 1 decent working tailgate as time permits.
