I don't know about you, but someone's sounding more than a little bit greedy.:p
Sent the guy an email asking what had been done to it to make it soo valuable... haven't heard back yet.

Been there for quite awhile...
It is valuable because it has 45k on it and looks immaculate...

Maybe Ben Affleck stuffed a dead hooker in it once?

I'm interested in seeing the fellow's response. I've seen it there for a while too and while it -does- look pretty clean and well cared for, someone has some serious delusions. I even went to look at the stuff on his website... wow. Some kind of a thief on some of that stuff.

Man - that looks good and really brings back some memories...someone's probably trying to double their money on this one. I'll give him $5500 ! That's what I paid for one just like it that was 5 years old at the time and had about 36k miles on it....
I drove by that place on my way to Whidby Island last Summer. My buddy from Oak Harbor told me everything at that dealership was very nice but very spendy there (in his opinion).

Right, averaged 15-16 mpg, on a 360, right.... I can't think of anywhere in Tacoma where they have that long of a down hill stretch.
WOW! Beautiful but yeah, about twice what I'd pay.
Heck, I saw a J truck last night that had working sun visors. I think that's more up my alley.
That poor thing reminds me of just how ugly the pig nose grilles are... sorry to people who like them...
Love the wheels, though!

I dunno, it could be a $10K Jeep.
Just looks expensive to most us cheapskates... ;)

I think its nice, but way too pretty spendy. I think the two mirrors on the driver's door is a unique touch.

It might be on the East coast Thomas but in the Pacific NW they are a dime a dozen and they get dumped cheap out there. The dealer prolly got it for $2,500-$3,000. It is clean, and from CA, but all too plentiful in WA. For $5,000 out there you can get a super clean rig. These guys would prolly do better on Ebay.

A lot of that rigs value is that it's stock. Depenind on who is looking, that 6" lift and 31's could seriously detract from the value.

What year did the taillight style change on the Wags? I always thought the wraparounds were from the 60's and 70's only. Nice rig but a few K too high especially with those crappy mirrors.

nope, my '83 waggy has the wraparound lights.
IF this rig were on the east coast, I can see it fetching a price like that form someone unwilling to continue hunting. With its location though? I can type Jeep Wagoneer into a search on the local craigslist and choose from several, two or three of which are just as nice and older.
Just my two cents worth but Yellow on Black plates went out in California in 1969-70, they went to Yellow on Blue. That plate starts with an "S" which makes it around 1966 vintage. Something is not right!
