We needed some factory parts for the Rescue Tellico Jeep, so Ryan Hart suggested that I contact Jake's FSJ Junkyard.
Before I could get the contact info., they contacted me...to donate whatever parts I needed.
I went up there on Saturday. What a cool place. They had 75 to 80 FSJs there. Jake and Jackie were incredibly hospitable.
The yard is near Burnsville, NC, just north of Asheville.
Jackie weedeated around the trucks and Jake shuttled me to each truck that had the parts we needed.
After collecting everything, they offered a great lunch.
Have you ever heard of a place with that many FSJs in one lot and that had owners who helped you pull the parts?
I haven't. It's worth the trip. Call before you go.
