Picking up some oil on sale at the part store and as I'm checking out I remembered to ask about a 13/16th spark plug swivel socket. Lo and behold they had one. That is the best $6.00 I have ever spent on the GW. Took all of 30 min total for both sides to swap out plugs and wires. I was tickled and the wife was in disbelief .
Normally spent 20 min. just on the rear passenger plug next to the heater box with alot of profanity thrown in. I wish I had done this years ago. I was so overjoyed just had to let someone else know. :drivin:

There are definitely some tools that make our rigs a lot easier to maintain...that's a really good example.

My favorite tool is my 2005 Impala, aka Jeep parts mobile.

And this comes in handy for the big stuff. :D

Well the jeep gods' were smiling on me today. Got the carb put on that dajeep sent me. Fixed a few vacuum problems I found when old carb was pulled. Little tuning and vroom vroom she is running smoother than ever before. Never had it all come together so smoothly when working on these metal beasts, almost makes me want to get another one but I am resisting the urge.:fsj:

Sweet truck!

One of our club members just picked one up that looks a lot like that. His is a Chevy 454/TH400 truck with a nice bed on it. makes moving stuff around a real breeze.
