I bought my first fsj ('79 j10) a couple months ago. Then I bought another ('76 cherokee) for parts this past weekend. This morning on my way home from work I spotted another ('77 Cherokee Chief) for sale. I've been thinking of what I can sell to get the $$ and scheming how to explain to the wife and get it also. Then I would be able to put together two running and in nice shape fsj's.

It doesn't seem to take long to go from a simple thought of "hey I think I really like that old Jeep" to "hey honey did you see that Wagoneer"? (in the parking lot of that super-duper-mega mall full of 15,000 other vehicles) or "hey I wonder if the guy with the J10 in his driveway actually drives it and if he would sell it to me cheap".

Right now I have 4 J-trucks, 3 CJs, 1 wagoneer, 2 F-series Fords,.....and a Unimog. I have become a master of yarn spinning to the wife. It's not an easy life. ;)

I am so whipped................. my wife drives the waggy and refuses to drive anything else now. I am trying to get her into something else that is more fuel efficient and she ain't havin it. I want her out of it so I can make it my tow vehicle. She told me I can go get my own........I bought this for me. I do not want two again, I'm fighting the disease, because that is twice as much work and cut's into fishin time.

I got it bad
LOL, not yet you don't....when you have 4 parked in & around the driveway, and the wife has to park on the street:eek:
THEN you've got it bad:rolleyes:
I can tell from the satellite pics on the 'net when they were taken based on how many Jeeps are scattered around.
Only have 2 in the driveway right now, and one of them isn't even mine.

Well the 5th has been scavenged hard enough I wouldn't call it a truck anymore since it's mostly just bits and pieces now. Truth be told one of the four is fast approaching the same condition but I used literary freedom and stretched a bit. :)
The mog is a 68 404 radio box. The box is off right now soon to be followed by the cab. They both need some body work and in the case of the cab it will make installation of the new crate motor I have for it much easier. I think the PO got a bit creative with his maintenance in order to hide the fact that the original motor was friggin fried. Anyway, I have it on good authority that it was still a good deal so I'm not bummin too much.
On a positive marital note, my wife thinks the wagoneer is pretty neat in an "antique" kind of way and she thinks the mog is cool beans. Of course she hasn't ridden in it yet, or probably more of an issue, tried to get IN it yet.
