78 Cherokee.....

what does it take to change to the rhino type grille?.....

I just had my FSJ painted and they did an awesome job on the grille area!....but it looks kinda weird with the green showing through the grille...so either I paint all that black to match the radiator or I switch to the small grille....if I go with the small grill is there an easy replacement to put lights in the other 2 holes?

thanks!

Some one else just got done doing this. Do a search and you should be able to find it.

Hey there!

I just did that very thing to my 84 GW. I found lights from a Mercedes 300 to fit perfectly. I had to replace the mounting bolts with ones long enough to go through the back radiator support and move the horns, but it wasn't too bad a job. I'll try to get some pics posted this weekend.

Just post here if you have any other questions.

Good Luck,
Greg

I've been collecting parts for the same project. Jamchico, if he still comes on here, had a couple of covers for the two smaller inside openings (he wanted $10 for them, pretty fair I thought). But I'm going to follow gbarrett and get headlight assemblies from an '85 Mercedes 300 turbodiesel.
