Quick question for you guys, I have the 2150 as my carb and when I punch the throttle in park or neutral I have a shot of gas come out of the weep hole for the accelerator pump. It doesn't smell like it is running rich, and no gas comes out when I pull the line for the power valve. Even with doing this the truck still runs like new. Could this be the power valve or something else as simple as putting a new acc. pump on? TIA!

Sounds like a torn accelerator-pump diaphragm. Easy fix, though; only four screws, and I think you can even do it with the carb on the manifold.

The bigger question would be why it ripped, though.

Thanks Bob! It looks like an easy enough fix. I'll probably attempt it tomorrow. I'll the diaphram out of my spare carb and use that. Thanks Again, this place rocks!

Well Bob, you were right on the money, the pump diaphram was dry-rotted pretty bad. I guess that happens when there is 196,000 miles on the carb. Now the 360 is running even better, it only took about 20 minutes to take the diaphram out of my spare carb and install it on the other. Thanks again! Easy Fix for a change
