I've searched but have only come up with a few J-Truck threads.

I'm swapping in a HP44 and D60 from a 78 Ford. So they the width is quite a bit wider than my NT currently is.

I plan on running 36 or 37 x 12.50 tires.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with mounting these wheels. Is the backspacing going to be too much? One thing I do not want is the tires to stick out too far from the body anyway.

This guy used them with Dana60/14BFF axles under his '73 Wagoneer. Sorry, don't have any fitment-specific specs on it. I know he was running 3"lift Alcan front springs SOA and 4"rear superlift springs flipped with 40x13.50x17 MTR's

I know Nate Marsh Did on his 1973 Wagoneer. He's running 1-tons and it looks like they suck up the trac-width nicely.

I have the 37 x12 KM2's on H2's on my Honcho. I am running the 78 f250 d44 and I have no issues with turning or tie rod. JR

I know you do JR! I took that pic! They look great on there too.

I just did not know how similar the J is to the Wag- if there is anything different that might affect the outcome.

Sorry about that. The only real difference should be the widetrack vs narrowtrack fender. The frames I believe are the same width.

Hey JR, are you getting good mileage out of them? I know you have had them almost 2 years now..

It's hard to tell. I went from 38.5's to the 37's with 5.13 gears so my RPM's are higher on the highways.
The ride is about a 100% improvement over the swampers as far as handling and noise. They really are an awesome tire. Can't wait to try them in the snow.
