I'm looking for a performance replacement clutch and disc. I have a T18 6.40 transmission. I would like to keep the stock pedal pressue. Center Force II is the first one that comes to mind. I've found one at Marcomotive.com for $170 clutch and $71 for disc. Seems like a fair price. Anybody got some input.

Luk pro gold series clutches are very good.Have seen a kit installed in a 72 Nova with 400+ hp and not miss a beat drag racing or on the street.Just my 2 cents worth.

The centerforce clutches for FSJ's are 10.5" units. Your flywheel is probably drilled for both an 11" and 10.5" clutch setup. I think you will get as much holding from a stock 11" disk for less money than the centerforce. Pedal pressure is probably less with the centerforce. Afterall that's one of the things people like about them. Just my few feeble thoughts on the issue.

My jeep has a aftermarket clutch in it. The PO put it in, the pedal is pretty hard, and to slip it for any hills i gota rev the engine up because at lower rpm's it just wants to grab. He said it was a center force but I have no clue what model.

BTW: 1st for the granny is 6.32:1

Also: does anybody else with a T18a have a 3/4" thick steel weight bolted to their flywheel?

stuka, Does your flywheel also have the cast weight in the back? On mine it is about 3/4" square.
