I was adjusting my timing and was thinking could Jeep make it any harder to read the tab.I laid down under the front to mark the balancer a little better and noticed the tab is marked on the front as well.Did they intend on you checking the timing from under the front bumper?Well goes along with the duct tape and velcro under the dash.
And unrelated to this I found out my low fuel light works.Came on showing about 1/8 tank like it should. So I know my gauge is accurate but windings at the top must be bad because it only goes to just above 3/4 mark when I fill up.

When timing, it is difficult because they added the A/C compressor. Look through the alternator bracket. There is a triangular shape in one of the brackets that I can see the timing point through. IIRC, the point is at o degrees. You need to see the other timing marks, as well.

Thanks jeepguzzi.I was looking thru that but just happened to notice the marks on the front of the tab.
