Okay guys & gals I have a 76 Waggy with the Boobie gril but I have always liked the razor grills but I must say this Boobie grill is kinda growing on me. So my question is this are the boobie grills as desirable as the razor grills? I ask this because I'm thinking of either trading off my current grill for a razor grill if I can find someone willing to trade or should I just keep the boobie grill and black it out? Also how the heck did my grill get the name boobie grill?

take a close look at the turn signals in the grill they are round about the size of your hand and they have nipples on them. take a close look at them they might grow on you.:D

Yeah I figured as much just was'nt sure if that was the reason. It does grow on you. I'm thinking about painting it though or trading it for a razor grill. I was told that these boobie grills are kinda popular.

Go with a rhino grille!

I've thought about that too. Just really like the razor grills. Where do you relocate your turn signals to when going to a rhino grill?

The bottom corners of the bOObie grille covers the rectangular holes that all the other types of grilles used.

Cool thank you sir. Still thinking Razor grill. Altough I must say I like the name of my current grill gives me an excuse to say BOOBIE. LOL

Has anyone ever seen a blacked out boobie grill or done one?

That's funny, I didn't know where the boobie grill got its name.

Guess which grill I prefer :D

Never was a big fan of the boobie grill. I am a big fan of its namesake though.

as I am new to the FSJ world (just bought my first one on Tuesday) I was thinking it would be helpful if someone would post a pic of each of these grills along with their respective names, maybe even the years they were featured?

i haven't been able to find all the grills in one place so I can compare one to the next and I am mixing them up...

also, when/which were metal and when/which were plastic...?

if someone could help out with that, that would be awesome... I haven't found this while searching the forums yet but if it is somewhere maybe just a link to that page?

thanks again. peace.

Has anyone ever seen a blacked out boobie grill or done one? When I put the brush guard on Krista's 77 Waggy a few years back, I freshened up the grille as well. Semigloss black cleaned up the plastic insert after repairing some cracks.

When I did mine, used a speckle paint which turned out kind of charcoal from a distance.

I would change my razor to a bOObie in a heartbeat if I could find another safe place for my winch control box.

Flint,
I was thinking about painting mine flat black but that semigloss looks pretty good. What brand of paint did you use or would you suggest?
